However, she has been staying close to home since her six-day trek away after the gosling’s flight day. Goslings Flight Day

Flight school training was very quiet this year. I missed the noise and ruckus of previous years but there were only two-feathered students needing to learn, and it was hit or miss when it came to seeing their practice runs. Reds The Fox

It is hard enough for wild creatures to survive under normal conditions but many of them are struggling even more today due to the loss of their habitat to humans. Hunger has made their struggle easier to witness, especially with shy predators like the red fox. The Trio’s Gosling

The trio returned and initially selected my roof for nesting. I was not sure I wanted to have them up there, and especially if it meant Lucy would be denied access to my house. They must have sensed my thoughts because they moved to the pond after a few days. Their site between two trees provided quick and easy access to the water.
