Based on my personal experience and some experiences of clients, I highly recommend purchasing either the silver satin or mirror finished pendant shield with 14K gold tabs – unless you can afford one of the all gold shields, which is the highest protection available. The company only had the silver shield with brass tabs back in 1995, and I outgrew it in about 6-8 months. Therefore, the sterling silver with 14K gold tabs are the only shields available on my blog, and is the shield I am still using to this day. Additionally, gold is a precious metal with a higher frequency, and provides 10-20% more strength than the original silver with brass tabs.
